A great find, two enormous beds and two bathrooms, a well equipped kitchen and a warm welcome made us feel exactly that, welcomed. The flat itself is spacious and quite a few very thoughtful touches make it very cosy and homely. We explored the area and it was always a pleasure to come ‘home’. Locating the picnic hamper was the highlight for some of us :) the space was absolutely spotless and situated with new builds it was also quiet and parking wasn’t an issue either. It’s a short stroll down to Cellardyke harbour and also the walk to Anstruther’s harbour front is a rather pleasant and short one. We loved out extended weekend and will definitely be back. Stayed for 3 nights at the end of June. What a beautiful modern apartment. Located on a modern housing development a very short walk from the harbour. Spotlessly clean, very well appointed with top quality furnishings and equipment. Nice touches like the Tassimo coffee machine complete with full racks of pods, milk and a bottle of fizz in the fridge. We were met by the owner, Arlene, who made us feel like old friends and made sure we were settled in and had everything we needed. By the way, busy stop for St. Andrews is a short walk up to the main road. I can thoroughly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting the area. I’m certainly thinking of coming back again. A very well appointed apartment, very well equipped in an excellent location. Would definitely recommend. (Gillian, June '19)

The location of the property is perfect to visit Cellardyke with its many pubs, eating places and lovely harbour. St. Andrews not too far.The apartment itself is beautiful ,well equipped with all you need for a short or long stay. The beds are enormous and very comfortable with plenty of storage space for your belongings. Arlene is extremely helpful and quick to respond. Thanks again for making our stay very enjoyable and the weather was a bonus hot all 4 days (Mark, June '19)

A great host who was very flexible and accommodating with check-in and check-out times which was much appreciated. Arlene also had great communication with my son who was staying in the property ensure he knew how things worked, where everything was etc. I would recommend this property to others visiting the area. A great place. (Deborah, April '19)

Well from arriving to departure this accommodation was just perfect. Travelling with myself and husband were mum (70) and daughter (9) and can say the accommodation is great for all ages. Within quiet housing estate and walking distance to Anstruther this was a great base to see the area and travel to Pittenweem, Crail and St Andrews. The owners met us on arrival to pass on the keys and can only say they were lovely and friendly, certainly made you feel welcome. Although only met them felt had known them for some time. Weather kind to us for the few days away so plenty sightseeing. The accommodation itself was 5*, very modern and felt very homely. Only downside was having to leave as could have stayed on longer. My daughter did not want to leave! Already home and looking to see when could book another w/end away here! highly recommend this place!! (Ian and Elaine, Feb '19)

My husband and I had a great stay at Fairhaven Apartments. Arlene is the perfect hostess, so welcoming, good preparation, milk in the fridge, and even the kettle on the boil. It's a sparklingly clean and well looked after apartment and a peaceful place to stay. Situated in a nice modern development, it's a handy to walk to Cellardyke. There is a nice pub there. We took the car for the few minutes’ drive when we wanted to go to Anstruther. We stayed 3 nights, but wish it had been longer. (Sue & Pete, June '18)

We were greeted at the apartment. The apartment was lovely with everything you would need for a comfortable stay. Also as everyone has said only 10mins walk down through Cellardyke to Anstruther. Thank you Arlene (Bob, June '18)
